Horror writer Berenice Duarte grew up in Sonora, Mexico and now makes her home in Somerville, Massachusetts. She is currently crafting her debut collection of short and flash fiction exploring fears foreign and dear to her heart. She firmly believes that writing is an act of survival and rebellion specially on today’s world.
