I chose this project because it was a great way to use my voice to express my personal feelings as a Black woman. The podcast allowed me to speak in a way I could be heard. This project is a token of my past, present, and future as a Black woman. It speaks volumes to feelings and things I've faced in my life and how they've motivated me. I didn't have challenges during this project, I feel it was a tool to be myself and speak freely from the heart. Knowing that I was unscripted made the project a lot better for me. I enjoyed sharing space with women that identified with similarities as myself. Being able to preset my story and experiences was very fulfilling and I hope to help other Black women.
